How long does it take to have my part rebuilt?

Generally, once your part arrives at our factory it is rebuilt within 2 business days, after which It is sent back to you via standard UPS ground (shipping can be expedited upon your request).  If you are in a major hurry, please contact us and we will do our best to help you out.

So, for example, if we receive your part on a Tuesday, it will be rebuilt either on Tuesday or Wednesday, and then it will be sent out to you on Wednesday or Thursday.

Of course, this is just an estimate.  If your part requires special attention, it could take a bit longer.  We find that most of our customers would much rather us do the job right than to rush something out the door.

When we call you to confirm pricing, you will also be given an estimated delivery date.

How much does it cost?

The cost of each part varies depending on the type of part (starter, alternator, steering gear, etc.),  the make, model, and year of the application (Caterpillar Tractor, Corvette, etc.), and the type of attention your part needs (standard, chrome, new armature, new drive, etc.)

What type of parts do you rebuild?

We rebuild:  Starters, Alternators, Generators, Electric Motors, Power Steering Pumps, Power Steering Gear Boxes, Rack & Pinion units, Control Valves, Power Cylinders, Hydraulic Pumps, Hydraulic Cylinders, Manual Steering Gear Boxes, Front Wheel Drive Axles, Power Boosters, Hydroboosts, Smog Pumps, and Lift Gate Motors.

Do you warranty your work?

Yes, all of our parts are covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.  The only exception is parts for commercial equipment (Freight Trucks, Tractors, etc.), which are covered for 90 days.

The Rebuilding Factory will replace any item due to defective parts or our improper assembly, if deemed defective in the rebuilding process.  Liability is limited strictly to the replacement of defective units and no claim for labor or consequential damages will be honored.  Except for such replacement, the sale or use of any of our items is without liability or warranty whatsoever, especially if any other fault, including negligence, might cause damage, defect, injury or loss.

Can I make special requests?

Of course!  We handle special requests such as making a higher amperage alternator, chroming your unit, and more.
